Earth Hour
"Did you switch off your light?" I believe this is the common question/topic that peoples ask during Earth Hour on 28 Mac 2009.
Last night, i switched off my light at 8.20pm then went down to the pool side to observe my condo's area. It was largely disappointed. I was waiting until 8.35 and seems nothing happen. As you can see, the spotlight at the pool side still so bright and i think 60% of residents still opened the lights.
My gf, Angeline said there is 10% discount in Starbucks Coffee during Earth Hour. So we decided to have one and just drove out. Along the way to ss2, i really cannot feel any different compare with normal days. Those spotlights at the billboard still on.
Before we buy our coffee, i suddenly think of "spot check" at my friend's house. The first 1 was alice's house then followed by my best friend, chea chern.
Finally i found somebody that support with this activity. I guess peoples still not really aware about this campaign. i knew there are some shopping complex like 1U and the curve have such activities/event but i think somehow, government should be more participate in this like create awareness in public, corporate with TNB, and promote the campaign.
We drove all the way from kelana jaya to ss2 just for a cup of caramel machiatto. lolx...
I would like to share with you all how's the Earth Hour was going at other's countries:

DJ JEF
Djing always is my dream. I used to mix a lot with software like virtual DJ but i really hope i can spin on the real turntable someday.
Thanks to my friend, ah siak a.k.a. DJ bad boy ben gave me a chance to learn from him. He is the one who always encourage me to mix in the real DJ console rather than mix in the bedroom. On the past few days, i was following him to club & pub to learn on desk. Every night after working then i rushing to those pub until 3,4 am then i woke up at 8 am to go work again. Average 4 hours sleep on the past few days. It's real tired but i'm happy.
Somehow, when you come to live, that's really different from virtual. I used to play trance, the beat are usually long and easy to get at the begining & finishing part. I not sure whether i not familiar with RnB tracks, so it seem hard for me to match the beat. When come to the desk, everything just can't be organise well. I really need to fast catch up & over come that.

Before we go, we went to the roof top of the hotel to redeem our free drinks. What a nice view from there.

After visiting, then we going to suam lom there having our dinner. The food court there is damn huge.
What we've ordered:
Here is the best part of the story. All this while, i always thought our flight are 10pm. During the dinner, someone asked "eh, what exactly our time of flight?" then only got people took out the itinerary to check. That time was around 6pm++...CK asked "eh...2020 is it 8.20pm?" OMG!!! we're still so slumber having our dinner...some more that time is the most traffic jam hours. We separated into 2 teams and took "tuk tuk" car. However,we're still caught in jam then we change to motor taxi. When me & BJ reached the hotel, they already took all the luggage and left message to us, asked us to take lrt to last station and meet there. Both of us running to main street to get motor taxi to fetch us. Lucky BJ got the motor while i kept running until i saw few of the motor taxi driver rest in front of 7-11. They refuse to take me because is jam and raining. I keep begging them until 1 of them willing to take me (but charge me double,400 bath). So i met up with BJ and chern then we took lrt to last station to meet up with CK & wee shan. How emberassing that whole body so wet while the water dripping from my shirt in the train. Finally we took a taxi to airport but we were late for 5 min. No choice, we gotta buy a new ticket and over night at the airport now.
